The medical team at Prevail Recovery and Wellness can treat patients with opioid use disorder in various conditions. For example:

Induction - If a patient is in active withdrawal, our team will provide immediate treatment to alleviate withdrawal symptoms and determine a the appropriate maintenance dose needed to keep the patient feeling well. Once induction, patients enter the maintenance phase.

Maintenance - After induction, or if a patient is not in withdrawal and currently taking buprenorphine or similar medication, our team will determine the safest medication and dosage at which to continue therapy.

Anyone having symptoms of severe alcohol withdrawal should seek care in a hospital setting due to the potentially life-threatening nature of withdrawal complications.

Patients who are not currently in severe withdrawal can be evaluated by our medical team to determine whether treatment for alcohol addiction is appropriate. A period of abstinence may be necessary before beginning certain treatments.

Ongoing medical and psychological monitoring as well as facilitation of social support are integral to the treatment plan.
